In Shackelford and Callahan Counties, Lone Star II Wind Farm has an installed capacity of 200 MW - enough to power approximately 55,000 Texas homes with clean energy each year. Lone Star II, which achieved commercial operation in May 2008, consists of 100 Gamesa G87 2.0 MW turbines. J. Aron, the commodities division of Goldman Sachs, purchases the clean, renewable energy.
